It’s a rite of passage for former child actors: the role that abruptly announces that you’re all grown up from the adorable moppet who won our hearts. Emma Watson’s fellow Hogwarts alumni Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint tackled those roles years ago, and now it looks like it’s Hermione’s turn to (softly) shock us.

Watson tweeted a pic of herself in character for The Bling Ring, director Sofia Coppola’s ensemble film about the real-life celeb burglary ring that ripped off homes of stars like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Orlando Bloom. “Twitters meet Nicki, Nicki meet twitterers,” wrote Watson along with the shot (at right) of her in bubblegum pink low-slung sweatpants and too-short jacket, exposing her hipbones and some naughtily placed ink. “Nicki likes Lip Gloss, Purses, Yoga, Pole Dancing, Uggs, Louboutins, Juice Cleanses, Iced coffee and Tattoos.” Tattoos? Pole dancing? UGGS?!?

It is a bit jarring to see Watson looking like your average L.A. celebutart. She just wrapped production last Friday, so it will be a while before we see how this image translates to Nicki’s words and deeds.

Emma Watson has been busy shooting scenes for Bling Ring in West Hollywood for the last few weeks and yesterday she, and three co-stars, spent the day looking super-hot and strutting up and down Robertson Blvd.
Sporting long, dark hair extensions and wearing a furry gilet, black skinny jeans and toting an Hermes bag, the 21-year-old looked every inch a Tinseltown star.

The Sofia Coppola-directed flick about a group of fame-obsessed teenagers, who robbed the homes of celebrities including Megan Fox, Orlando Bloom and Lindsay Lohan, is expected to hit cinemas in 2013.

Fresh off of spending the St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Boston, Emma Watson was back in work mode as she kicked off a new project titled “The Bling Ring” in Calabasas, California on Monday (March 19).

Set in Thirties London, Ballet Shoes tells a tale of orphans Pauline, Petrova and Posy Fossil, who are adopted by an eccentric explorer, Gum, and raised as sisters by his selfless niece. The story revolves around each girl’s struggle to fulfill her dreams: Pauline longs to be an actress, Petrova yearns to be an aviator, and Posy seems born to be a ballerina. But when Gum disappears, the money runs out – and the girls have a fight on their hands. They struggle to balance personal ambition with the need to survive physically, emotionally, and financially.

In the summer of 1956, aspiring filmmaker Colin Clark works as an assistant on the British set of The Prince and the Showgirl, which stars Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe, who is also on honeymoon with her new husband, playwright Arthur Miller. When Miller leaves the country, Clark introduces Monroe to British life and they spend a week together, during which time she escapes from her Hollywood routine and the pressures of work.

Emma Watson is red hot in Valentino at a pre-BAFTA party held at The Savoy Hotel on Friday (February 10) in London, England. The 21-year-old actress came out for the Lancome-hosted bash, a few days before the BAFTA Film Awards taking place this Sunday (February 12).
