It’s a rite of passage for former child actors: the role that abruptly announces that you’re all grown up from the adorable moppet who won our hearts. Emma Watson’s fellow Hogwarts alumni Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint tackled those roles years ago, and now it looks like it’s Hermione’s turn to (softly) shock us.

Watson tweeted a pic of herself in character for The Bling Ring, director Sofia Coppola’s ensemble film about the real-life celeb burglary ring that ripped off homes of stars like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Orlando Bloom. “Twitters meet Nicki, Nicki meet twitterers,” wrote Watson along with the shot (at right) of her in bubblegum pink low-slung sweatpants and too-short jacket, exposing her hipbones and some naughtily placed ink. “Nicki likes Lip Gloss, Purses, Yoga, Pole Dancing, Uggs, Louboutins, Juice Cleanses, Iced coffee and Tattoos.” Tattoos? Pole dancing? UGGS?!?

It is a bit jarring to see Watson looking like your average L.A. celebutart. She just wrapped production last Friday, so it will be a while before we see how this image translates to Nicki’s words and deeds.

Several new high-profile actors, including Jason Segel, Emma Watson Michael Cera, David Krumholtz and Rihanna, have been in talks to join the new cameo roles the upcoming film ‘The End of the World,’ the directorial debut of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, Slashfilm is reporting. The news comes after James Franco, Danny McBride, Aziz Ansari, Jonah Hill and Craig Robinson have all been confirmed for cameo roles in the action comedy.
While Segel and Drumholtz have already officially signed on to appear in ‘The End of the World,’ Cera and Watson are still in talks. Rihanna is also reportedly still in the beginning stages of casting, but they are all likely to be part of the movie.
‘The End of the World’ will take place in Franco’s apartment. The film will focus on Krumholtz and Rogen as they deal with the apocalypse occurring outside. Most of the actors slated to appear aren’t expected to survive the film.

Set in Thirties London, Ballet Shoes tells a tale of orphans Pauline, Petrova and Posy Fossil, who are adopted by an eccentric explorer, Gum, and raised as sisters by his selfless niece. The story revolves around each girl’s struggle to fulfill her dreams: Pauline longs to be an actress, Petrova yearns to be an aviator, and Posy seems born to be a ballerina. But when Gum disappears, the money runs out – and the girls have a fight on their hands. They struggle to balance personal ambition with the need to survive physically, emotionally, and financially.

Emma Watson, best known for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, will star The Bling Ring, Sofia Coppola’s latest picture.

Based on true events that took place in Beverly Hills, the movie will tell the story of a group of fashion and fame-obsessed teens who broke into the homes of celebrities.

With the movie, Coppola wants to reflect today’s culture of celebrity and “reveal a sobering view of our modern culture,” according to the project’s producers, which include Coppola, brother Roman Coppola and Youree Henley.

Watson will topline what will be an ensemble cast.

The movie will shoot this spring on location in Los Angeles.

In her post-Potter career, Watson, repped by WME and Markham, Froggatt & Irwin, is attached to a Beauty and the Beast project to be directed by Guillermo del Toro and the drama Your Voice in My Head, which would reunite her with director David Yates, who helmed many a Potter movies.

Coppola said that she’s looking forward to filming. “I’m excited about the young cast we’re assembling, and I’m looking forward to shooting on location here in Los Angeles,” she said.

Emma Watson fans will be in for a surprise when they see her post-Harry Potter films, her co-star Ezra Miller has said.

The We Need To Talk About Kevin actor worked with Emma on the upcoming movie adaptation of Stephen Chbosky’s novel The Perks Of Being A Wallflower in which he plays Emma’s gay step-brother, Patrick.

“Emma has become one of my closest friends,” said 19-year old Ezra.

“She is brilliant, not only as a person but as an actress and artist. I think the world is in for a series of serious surprises when these next projects of hers come out, because she truly is an inspired and inspiring human being.”

The pair worked hard to get their on-screen partnership right.

He said: “From the very beginning when we first met each other we were cultivating our relationship for the film. And by the second week of filming in Pittsburgh, while we were in next-door hotel rooms, we had opened the doors between our two rooms and were living together in this cultivation of brother and sister.

“She is incredibly well-informed when it comes to her craft. You never feel as though you’re working against her, you always feel like you’re working with her because like any great actress she really listens. It was an amazing experience to work with her.”
